Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Leicester City

Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Boxing Day trip to fellow high-flyers Leicester City.

Liverpool return to Premier League action on Boxing Day when they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in a battle between the top two.

Fresh from being crowned world champions for the first time, Liverpool fly back from Qatar still boasting a 10-point lead at the summit and now with a game in hand.

Leicester are looking to bounce back from their defeat to Manchester City on Saturday, a result which ended their 11-match unbeaten run across all competitions.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of this contest.

Liverpool's Club World Cup success did come at a cost, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain limping off in the final after landing awkwardly on his ankle. The extent of the injury has not yet been revealed, but the midfielder will not be ready before the turn of the year.
