Liverpool began their 2019-20 Premier League campaign in ideal fashion with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Norwich City at Anfield on Friday night, and next they turn their attention to silverware in the UEFA Super Cup.

Having missed out in the Community Shield, the Reds find themselves with a second chance to claim an early-season trophy when they face domestic rivals and Europa League winners Chelsea in Istanbul.

Only Barcelona, AC Milan and Real Madrid have lifted this particular trophy more often than Liverpool, although their last success came in 2005 when they earned their place courtesy of Champions League glory in the same city they play this week.
