Half-Time Report: Liverpool ahead against West Ham United

Liverpool lead West Ham United 1-0 at break in their Premier League clash at Anfield.

Liverpool are leading West Ham United 1-0 in their Premier League clash at Anfield.

Luis Suarez came close for Liverpool early on, but he placed his low effort straight into the hands of the keeper.

The home side dominated throughout the half, and Jordan Henderson was unlucky to see his curling effort deflect wide off Suarez.

Matt Jarvis threatened for West Ham, as he broke forward and flashed a strike across goal that none of his teammates could connect with.

Raheem Sterling should have given Liverpool the lead when he was slipped through on goal, but he poked his effort wide with just the keeper to beat.

Liverpool took the lead three minutes from the break, as Suarez saw his low shot saved by Jussi Jaaskelainen, but the rebound cannoned off Guy Demel and into his own net.
