Mathieu Debuchy: "I still want to go"

Lille defender Mathieu Debuchy has reiterated that he still wants to leave the French club this summer.

The 26-year-old, who has been strongly linked with a move to Newcastle United, revealed his desire following Lille's 2-1 win over Saint-Etienne.

"I don't want to talk about my future. I heard what the chairman said. The transfer window is open until September 4. I still want to go. We will see," he told Canal+.

Debuchy starred for France at Euro 2012 this summer.
