Paris Saint-Germain's strong interest in Lucas Chevalier is pushing Lille to explore the transfer market in search of a potential replacement in goal.
With contract talks reportedly stalling with Gianluigi Donnarumma, PSG are targeting Lille’s Chevalier as a key signing for the summer transfer window. The Ligue 1 champions have offered the 22-year-old French goalkeeper a five-year deal. However, negotiations remain ongoing with Lille, as no agreement has yet been reached regarding the transfer fee.
According to L'Equipe, PSG have submitted a bid below €40m (£34m) for Chevalier, although the exact amount has not been disclosed. Lille are expected to reject the offer, as they value the goalkeeper at a minimum of €40m. The northern French club are also actively preparing for Chevalier's potential departure, with his current deal running until June 2027.
