Half-Time Report: Ethan Ebanks-Landell fires Wolverhampton Wanderers into lead

Ethan Ebanks-Landell has fired Wolverhampton Wanderers into a 1-0 half-time lead over Leyton Orient at Molineux this afternoon.

The visitors, who trailed their London counterparts by just goal difference at the summit of League One prior to kickoff, were given the ideal start when Ebanks-Landell fired Kenny Jackett's men ahead after just four minutes.

Russell Slade's men went close to restoring parity on 20 minutes when Romain Vincelot rose highest to meet a Dean Cox corner, but his header narrowly scaled the crossbar.

Ebanks-Landell's early strike proved enough as Wolves are halfway to ending the calendar year top of England's third tier.
