Russell Slade: 'Players must forget today and move on'

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade has told his players to "forget today and move on" following their heavy cup defeat.

Orient crashed out of the FA Cup at the third-round stage as a result of their comprehensive 4-0 defeat against Yeovil Town at Huish Park.

Despite the heavy loss, Slade has insisted that the new players in his side put in a good performance.

"We're disappointed obviously," Slade told the club's official website. "I've said to the lads we need to put that in a box, forget it and move on.

"I thought the new lads did really well. We're hoping to bring a couple more in as soon as we can."

Orient return to league action on Tuesday night when they travel to New Meadow to face Shrewsbury Town.
