Reading poised to sign Geoffrey Kondogbia?

Reading are reportedly on the verge of signing Lens midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The 19-year-old was member of the France squad that were beaten on penalties by Spain in the semi-finals of the European Under-19 Championship last night.

Royals boss Brian McDermott has agreed a £4m fee with les Sang et Or and hopes to meet the player in Berkshire on Monday to finalise personal terms, according to The Mirror.

Kondogbia made 31 Ligue 2 appearances last season, scoring once.
