Report: Leicester City in Nampalys Mendy talks

Leicester City are reportedly in talks with Nice over a summer move for defensive midfielder Nampalys Mendy.

The Premier League champions were linked with the 23-year-old towards the end of last month and according to RMC Sport, the two clubs are now in discussions over the transfer of the former France Under-21 international.

The same report claims that Mendy has also agreed personal terms with the English outfit, but the two clubs are yet to agree a fee.

The arrival of the midfielder could lead to N'Golo Kante departing the King Power Stadium. Both Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea are believed to be interested in signing the £20m-rated Frenchman in this summer's transfer window.
