Puel: 'Leicester won't sell Maguire'

Leicester City boss Claude Puel has dismissed suggestions that Harry Maguire could leave the King Power Stadium during the summer.

Both Manchester City and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the centre-back, who only made the switch to the Foxes before the start of the current campaign.

However, Puel has said that he wants to build a team around the England international, who has made 39 starts for the East Midlands outfit.

At a press conference, the 56-year-old told reporters: "Harry is a valuable player for us and I want to build my team around him. It's just speculation.

"He came into Leicester, played, developed and he needs to continue to improve. He's a young player with fantastic attributes, an international player, it's a good thing to have this player at Leicester.

"It's important to give him a good feeling for the future, to build a good team around him, to keep a good ambition for the future."

Maguire still has over four years remaining on his contract with Leicester.
