Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has reportedly signed his son James on a 12-month contract.
The defender, who had been on the books of Rotherham United, had already been undergoing a trial with the club.
According to BBC Radio Leicester, Pearson has signed the youngster as cover for his injury-hit defence.
Leicester occupy 19th in the Championship.
