Wes Morgan keen for new Leicester City contract

Leicester City defender Wes Morgan has admitted that he is keen to sign a new contract with the Championship club.

The 29-year-old, who is in the final year of his current deal, has been linked with a return to Nottingham Forest.

"I'm happy," Morgan told the Leicester Mercury. "The manager has shown me nothing but love. It would be nice to be offered a contract."

Morgan joined Leicester from Forest in January 2012.
