Leicester City youngster Michael Cain extends Walsall loan until end of season

Leicester City youngster Michael Cain has extended his loan with Walsall until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been with the League One club since October.

Cain, who spent part of the last campaign on loan at Mansfield Town, has scored three goals in 18 appearances for Walsall.

"He has developed extremely well during his time with us and fitted in to how we do things here," manager Dean Smith told the club's official website. "He's a talented lad with a fantastic attitude and hopefully his progress will continue during the months ahead."

Walsall are currently in 14th place in the table, three points adrift of the playoff positions.
