Ball pens Leicester deal

Michael Ball has rejoined former manager Sven-Goran Eriksson after signing a contract with Leicester City.

The 31-year-old had previously played under Eriksson at Manchester City after spells with Everton Rangers and PSV Eindhoven.

Ball had been a free agent since leaving Eastlands in 2009 but joined the Foxes on trial over the summer and impressed on their pre-season tour of Sweden.

Leicester began their Championship campaign with a 1-0 win away at Coventry City.
