Birmingham City earn late draw at Leicester City

Birmingham City have scored a last-minute penalty to earn a 2-2 draw at Leicester City in the Championship.

The Foxes looked on course for their first win in nine matches before Chris Burke scored from the spot late on to earn the visitors a share of the spoils.

The hosts were ahead at the break when Curtis Davies headed into his own net from a corner on 12 minutes.

Birmingham got themselves level on the hour as Nikola Zigic tapped in at the far post to cap a slick passing move from the visitors.

Leicester took the lead again with 15 minutes left to play through Jeffrey Schlupp's powerful header from a corner.

However, Burke slotted in from 12 yards in the 91st minute after David Nugent had collided with Wes Thomas.
