In-form Leicester City hitman Jamie Vardy: 'I won't stop scoring goals'

Vardy: 'I won't stop scoring goals'

In-form Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has admitted that he cannot see his goal-laden purple patch coming to an end anytime soon.

The 28-year-old has netted 11 times in as many Premier League outings this season as the Foxes sit third in the table, three points behind co-leaders Manchester City and Arsenal.

Vardy has found the net in each of his last eight top-flight games, putting him two away from Ruud Van Nistelrooy's record of scoring in 10 straight matches.

"Everything I'm touching is going in. Long may that continue," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"That's how every striker should feel otherwise there's no point in being a striker, it's as simple as that, that's what I get paid for - to put the ball in the back of the net."

Claudio Ranieri's men face Watford at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
