Claude Puel believes that Leicester City did not do "enough to win" as they came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw against Stoke City at the King Power Stadium.

Claude Puel has acknowledged that Leicester City did not do enough to beat Stoke City in Saturday's 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium.

The Foxes went a goal down on the stroke of half time, and only levelled through a Jack Butland mistake on 70 minutes which yielded an own goal.

Leicester dominated possession against the Potters and mustered nine shots on target as well as winning 13 corners, and Puel bemoaned his side's lack of clinical edge in the final third.

"Not enough to win today," the Frenchman told BBC Sport. "We could have, but we could also have lost so perhaps a draw is fair. Their goalkeeper made some good saves, but we also conceded chances.

"I thought we started well, with intensity, but it became too slow to find space. It was better second half, but without a clinical edge or a little luck to find a winning goal."

The result sees Leicester edge up to seventh in the Premier League table ahead of Saturday's 3pm kickoffs.
