Nigel Pearson keen to use Esteban Cambiasso's knowledge of Jose Mourinho

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson believes that Esteban Cambiasso's knowledge of Jose Mourinho could help the team against Chelsea.

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has admitted that he will be using Esteban Cambiasso's knowledge of Jose Mourinho ahead of Chelsea's visit to the King Power Stadium on Wednesday.

Cambiasso was a key member of Inter Milan's treble-winning side when Mourinho was boss at San Siro in 2010, and Pearson believes that the Argentine will be fully aware of his former coach's tactics.

"I would say it is very probable he will know Mourinho's approach," the Foxes boss told reporters.

"It will be discussed - of course it will. The bottom line is we come up against a side who are very accomplished, who have a lot of talent in there and are in the driving seat in terms of league position.

"I think Jose will have a healthy respect for Esteban but then I think he has a healthy respect for all his opponents and his preparation for games would be exceptionally thorough for every team they come up against."

Leicester, who have won their last four games, are currently just one point above the relegation zone.
