Sven-Goran Eriksson heading to Iran

Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has been offered the opportunity to take charge of Iranian club Persepolis.

The 63-year-old is reportedly ready to fly to Dubai and hold discussion with president Mohammad Ruyanian.

"We are going to sign a big coach. We have negotiated with Sven-Goran Eriksson," said Ruyanian.

The Swede has been without a job since he was sacked by Championship club Leicester City last month.
