Lloyd Sam reveals that he would welcome an offer from Notts County, where he played on loan last season.

Free agent Lloyd Sam has revealed that he would be open to a return to Notts County but has yet to be made an offer by the club.

The winger was released by Leeds United at the end of last season and, despite holding talks with County, is unsure whether he will be offered a deal by the club for which he scored five goals on loan last season.

"A lot of Notts fans have been asking me on Twitter if I'm going to come back," the 27-year-old told the Nottingham Evening Post. "I've even been getting a bit of abuse because some of them think I've turned down an offer to come back, but there has not been an offer made.

"They showed some interest at the start of the summer and I spoke to them, but that's it. I had a great time last season so if they want to make me an offer, we can take it from there."

Sam signed for Leeds in 2010, staying for two years.
