Leeds 'receive £5m bid for McCormack'

Leeds United have reportedly received a £5m bid for Ross McCormack from an unnamed Championship rival.

The bid was made yesterday, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, but will be considered by club owner Massimo Cellino over the weekend, ahead of his return to the UK on Sunday.

The 27-year-old has been linked to Derby County and Norwich City recently, while Newcastle United denied making a bid for the Leeds captain last week.

The striker, who is thought to be valued at more than £6m by the Elland Road side, scored 29 goals during the 2013-14 campaign.
