Leeds ready to seal Danny Pugh loan deal

Leeds United are set to sign Stoke City midfielder Danny Pugh on loan.

Pugh previously played at Elland Road between 2004 and 2006, where he scored five goals in 50 appearances.

"He's been involved in a game tonight, hopefully he's not got injured and fingers crossed it should be done in the morning," Leeds manager Simon Grayson told reporters after Leeds’ 3-0 Carling Cup loss to Manchester United last night (Tuesday).

Speculation has surrounded the 28-year-old’s future after he was left out of Stoke’s Premier League squad.
