Uwe Rosler: 'Leeds United panicked during MK Dons win'

Uwe Rosler says that Leeds United struggled to close out their 2-1 Championship win over MK Dons.

Uwe Rosler has said that Leeds United panicked during their 2-1 Championship victory over MK Dons.

Leeds took a 2-0 lead into half time, but struggled in the closing stages despite playing the final 12 minutes with ten men.

"I felt the way we managed the first 15-20 minutes of the second half was very impressive. We went for another goal and we could have easily scored another goal in that period," Rosler told BBC Sport. "Then the panic button came into play, even with a man more.

"All credit to MK Dons, they made some tactical changes, they put Carl Baker in the right-back position, and he put ball after ball in our box. We found it difficult to get the ball down and play, and use our man advantage.

"You need to find a way to win, even when you're not playing over 90 minutes prettily, and that's what we did."

Leeds have moved up to 10th in the Championship table following the victory.
