Neil Warnock accepts FA charge

Leeds United manager Neil Warnock has accepted a charge of improper conduct from the Football Association.

However, the 63-year-old has not accepted the standard penalty of a touchline suspension and a fine for the breach.

As a result, he has requested a paper hearing, which means that he will not have to be present at the case.

Warnock's charge relates to his conduct towards referee Mark Halsey during his side's recent 1-0 defeat away at Millwall.

The manager was particularly unhappy with Halsey's decision to send off Luke Varney for an alleged elbow on Adam Smith.
