Leeds United manager Brian McDermott has revealed that he intends to talk to the club's owners about adding to his squad in January.
The Elland Road outfit suffered a blow earlier this week when striker Dexter Blackstock was ruled out for the season with a knee injury, and McDermott has admitted that he is keen to strengthen next month in order to maintain their promotion push in the Championship.
The 52-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I've got a couple of ideas that I'd like to put to the board and the time will obviously be in January, so that will be then."
Leeds are currently sitting in eighth position in the league table.
