Leeds United start pleases Uwe Rosler

Manager Uwe Rosler has admitted that he is pleased with Leeds United's start to the season.

The Whites began their league campaign with four consecutive draws before winning at Derby County, thanks to Chris Wood's dramatic winner.

"If we'd got a draw (at Derby) then I don't know how people would have looked at our results but I think we've had a very good start to the season," the German told The Yorkshire Evening Post.

"Mentally after winning at a place like Derby I'd have liked to have kept that momentum going.

"But I'm really pleased that we've gone into a period where we can improve tactically and physically, so that we're ready for the next run of games."

Former Brentford and Wigan Athletic boss Rosler was appointed manager at Elland Road in May.
