Leeds United manager David Hockaday has praised his side after they secured their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory against Middlesborough.
Hockaday watched on as a late Billy Sharp goal at Elland Road gave Leeds the win.
He told reporters after the game: "It was a tough game, there were quite a few chances and it took a goal poacher to sneak the win.
"Boro are a good team, one of the form teams, and to come away with a clean sheet and three points, I can't ask for more."
Leeds will next host Brighton & Hove Albion on Tuesday evening.
