Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci charged with misconduct by FA

The Football Association has charged Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci with using racist language towards an opponent.

The incident is alleged to have happened during the Championship encounter between Leeds and Norwich City on October 21.

Bellusci reportedly made "a reference to ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race" towards Norwich forward Cameron Jerome.

Leeds have confirmed that the 25-year-old Italian will be contesting the charge.
