Vladimir Petkovic in line for new Lazio deal?

Lazio chiefs are already preparing to offer manager Vladimir Petkovic an extension to his contract, according to reports.

The Bosnian has only been in charge for little over five months, but has made a flying start to life with Aquile, guiding them to fourth place after 10 games.

His current deal expires in June 2014, but Corriere dello Sport have now reported that the 49-year-old could now be in line for a new agreement.

Petkovic joined the club following a one-year stay with Swiss outfit FC Sion.
