Half-Time Report: Lazio, Roma goalless

Lazio and Roma have played out a goalless first half in their Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico this afternoon.

Alessandro Florenzi wasted a good chance to give the visitors an early lead when he was picked out at the back post by Maicon, but he could only fire his volleyed effort over the bar.

Roma had a goal disallowed midway through the half. Maicon saw his shot pushed away by Valon Berisha and Gervinho followed up to slot home the rebound, but the forward was adjudged to have been in an offside position.

Francesco Totti tested Berisha with a long-range effort soon after, but the keeper did well to hold onto his powerful strike.

Alvaro Gonzalez fired over the bar for Lazio, before Gervinho curled a strike wide when he was found in space just inside the box.
