In game five of their nine-game MLS road trip, Dallas will pay a visit to Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday as they square off with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

After a 1-1 draw with the San Jose Earthquakes last week, the Galaxy sit 11th in the Western Conference table, five points below the Toros, who are sixth following a 1-0 loss at San Diego.

Los Angeles begin a new month hoping to turn around what has been another disappointing domestic campaign overall.

Greg Vanney’s men will aim to snap a four-match winless run in this competition, netting a goal or fewer in each of those prior outings.

While they have only won two of their last eight MLS encounters, a mere three points currently separate the Galaxy from the Seattle Sounders for eighth in the Western Conference.

At home, LA have collected the joint-fewest wins in the league (two), dropping points in four successive domestic outings in Carson.

Defensively, they have given up a combined six goals in their last two games at home in this competition, one more than they allowed in their four regular-season fixtures at Dignity Health Sports Park before that.

Foot injuries could prevent Erik Thommy and Klauss from featuring for the Galaxy on Saturday evening, while Jakob Glesnes and Carlos Garces are eligible to return from their yellow card suspensions.

Joseph Paintsil had their only goal in San Jose last weekend, his fourth of the MLS campaign, drawing even with Marco Reus.

Over in Dallas, Ramiro is the only injury concern as he is dealing with a lower body problem and unlikely to see the field this weekend.

From matchday 16 to 17, there were three changes made to their starting 11 with Sebastien Ibeagha, Ran Binyamin and Petar Musa replacing Herman Johansson, Santiago Moreno and Logan Farrington.
