Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder David Beckham has revealed that he hopes to keep playing for as long as teams want him.
The 36-year-old signed a new two-year deal with the MLS side on Wednesday.
"I'm going to keep playing for as long as possible and as long as teams keep offering me new contracts, I'll keep playing," he said during a Google webchat.
"I would still be playing this sport if I wasn't be paid for it. Not that I don't want to be paid for it!"
Beckham signed for the Galaxy in 2007 from Real Madrid.
