Kelly's father suffers suspected heart attack

The father of Kilmarnock's Liam Kelly has suffered a suspected heart attack, just moments after watching his son help Killie defeat Celtic 1-0 in the Scottish League Cup final this afternoon.

Kelly was seen sprinting up the tunnel during the post-match pitch celebrations as news of his dad's condition filtered through.

His condition is not currently known, but it is believed that he is in hospital receiving further treatment.

"Liam's father had a heart attack and we are worried," Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels told BBC Radio Scotland.

Kelly, 22, joined Killie in 2009.
