Juventus 'to rival Manchester United for Joao Felix'

Juve 'to rival Man United for Joao Felix'

Juventus have reportedly joined Manchester United in showing an interest in teenage Benfica midfielder Joao Felix.

The 19-year-old has caught the attention of a number of European football's biggest clubs since breaking into the Portuguese side's first team at the start of the season.

Felix has been touted as a successor to Cristiano Ronaldo in the Portugal national side and could attract offers of up to £100m this summer.

Sky Italia claims that Juventus are serious in their pursuit of the Portuguese youngster, having already arranged a meeting with Benfica and the player's agent Jorge Mendes. AC Milan have also been tipped to join the bidding and they have a secret weapon of sorts as Rui Costa has acted as a link between Felix and the Rossoneri.

Should Felix's valuation plummet as expected, however, Juventus and United are expected to go head to head for his coveted signature.
