Alessandro Del Piero receives Thailand offer?

Alessandro Del Piero has been approached by Thai club Muangthong United following his release by Juventus.

The Old Lady chose not to extend the 37-year-old's contract when it expired this summer, ending his 19-season career with the club.

Del Piero has been linked with several Premier League outfits but his preference is believed to be a move to America's Major League Soccer division.

However, Muangthong United are hoping to persuade the Italian to extend his playing days in the Far East and planned to meet him for talks in Turin on Tuesday, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Del Piero scored 208 times in 513 appearances during his time at Juventus.
