After securing the biggest win of a troubled season, Juventus aim to continue their run of Serie A success when they visit rock-bottom Hellas Verona on Thursday.

Despite victory in the Derby d'Italia - their fourth league win on the spin - Juve are only fifth in the standings approaching the World Cup break; meanwhile, their hosts have picked up just five points so far and sit inside the drop zone as a result.

We say: Hellas Verona 0-2 Juventus

A showdown between the side with the fewest goals conceded in Serie A this season (Juventus, with seven) and the team who have shipped the most (Verona; 26) should have only one outcome. The Bianconeri are also looking re-energised by their youthful newcomers, while the luckless Gialloblu lurch from one defeat to another.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Lazio vs. Monza (Thursday, 7.45pm)

Still basking in the glow of Rome Derby success, Lazio welcome ambitious Monza to Stadio Olimpico on Thursday, when both teams play their penultimate fixture before the World Cup intervenes.

The last meeting between the clubs was back in 2006, and now 16 years on, the Biancocelesti are flying high in the Serie A standings, while their visitors have been adapting to life in the top flight.

We say: Lazio 2-1 Monza

After their aberration against Salernitana, in-form Lazio got back on the winning trail in the best possible manner at the weekend, and after toppling bitter rivals Roma they can claim three points again on Thursday.

Monza certainly present a threat and stand a good chance of breaching the Aquile's strong defence, but they are nonetheless set to return from the capital empty-handed.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
