How Juventus could line up against AC Milan

Juventus will be looking to record their eighth Serie A victory in a row when they travel to San Siro to face an in-form AC Milan on Tuesday night.

The Old Lady continued their excellent run of form with a 4-1 win over Torino on Saturday, and they are now seven points clear at the top of the table courtesy of Lazio's defeat at home to Milan.

Juve will be determined to take another step towards retaining the title when they travel to San Siro, but the hosts have been in fine form since resuming their campaign last month.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Maurizio Sarri's side could line up on Tuesday night.

Out: Mattia De Sciglio (thigh), Alex Sandro (knee), Sami Khedira (tendon), Giorgio Chiellini (knee), Merih Demiral (knee), Matthijs de Ligt (suspended), Paulo Dybala (suspended)

Legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon made history against Torino on Saturday as he played his 648th game in Italy's top flight, surpassing the record previously held by Paolo Maldini.

Buffon is expected to drop back down to the bench for this game, though, with the club's number one stopper Wojciech Szczesny returning between the sticks.

Juve's injury situation is unchanged, with Mattia De Sciglio, Alex Sandro, Sami Khedira, Giorgio Chiellini and Merih Demiral all still unavailable for selection.

However, two more players will also be absent this weekend as Matthijs de Ligt and Paulo Dybala are both suspended due to the bookings that they picked up at the weekend.

Dybala has scored in each of his side's last five Serie A matches, but the Argentine is set to be replaced by Gonzalo Higuain at the tip of the attack, while Daniele Rugani is likely to take De Ligt's spot at the back.

Adrien Rabiot and Federico Bernardeschi are again expected to be preferred to Aaron Ramsey and Douglas Costa, while there will be another start for Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored four times in Juve's four Serie A games since returning to action, with the Portugal international now on 29 goals for the season.
