Juventus centre-back Giorgio Chiellini has called on his team to bounce back from their Supercoppa Italiana defeat to AC Milan by winning Serie A, the Champions League and the Coppa Italia this season.
Juventus lost out to Milan on penalties during the final on December 23, but the Italian giants currently occupy first spot in Serie A and are favourites to overcome Porto in the last-16 stage of the Champions League.
Italian international Chiellini wants the Turin outfit to use the disappointment of the defeat against Milan to "enjoy a great ride" in the second half of the 2016-17 campaign.
"In 2014 when we lost the Supercoppa we got to the final of the Champions League. I hope it's a springboard into the next six months," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We are aware that it is not ideal, but we can achieve great results by winning the league, the Champions League and the Italian Cup. But to do this we must continue our daily work and showing the iron will that has brought us this far.
"The margins of improvement are there, but the key ingredient must be a commitment and the desire to improve. What happened will serve as a lesson, because in the coming months, as happened two years ago, we have to enjoy a great ride."
Juventus return to league action with a home game against Bologna on January 8.
