Juventus's Martin Caceres ruled out for a month

Juventus defender Martin Caceres has been ruled out for at least a month after undergoing knee surgery.

The 26-year-old recently suffered an injury while on international duty with Uruguay.

"Caceres will now rest for a few days before beginning physiotherapy treatment," read an official statement from the Italian champions. "He is expected to be out of action for up to 40 days."

Juventus continue the defence of their Serie A title on Saturday when they travel to Inter Milan.
