Alvaro Morata: 'Juventus must come back stronger'

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata urges his teammates to put their Champions League final defeat behind them quickly.

Alvaro Morata has challenged his Juventus teammates to come back stronger next season following their defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League final.

Morata got on the scoresheet in Berlin last night, but he could not stop Juve from slipping to a 3-1 loss against Barca.

The Spanish striker now hopes that the Italian champions can put the result behind them and focus on winning more silverware in the next campaign.

"We had this chance for glory but couldn't pull it off," he told UEFA.com. "Now we have to get our heads down again and work on becoming an even better team, on winning even more trophies."

Morata scored 15 goals in 46 appearances for Juventus during the 2014-15 campaign.
