Massimiliano Allegri fires Atletico Madrid warning

Massimiliano Allegri warns Atletico Madrid that his Juventus team are not content with playing for the point they need to reach the next phase of the Champions League.

Massimiliano Allegri has warned Atletico Madrid that Juventus are not settling for a second-placed finish in Group A of the Champions League.

Allegri's side beat Malmo 2-0 in Sweden last night to ensure that they just need a point when the Spanish giants visit Turin on December 9 to reach the last 16.

However, the Italian is keen for the Bianconeri - who sit three points behind Atleti - to book their place in the second round as group winners.

"We must try to win - and do so by two clear goals because we have the chance to finish first," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"It will be a beautiful evening but we will have to get a good result in order to seal our qualification and claim first place."

Second-half goals from Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez secured victory over the Swedish side.
