Didier Drogba warns his Ivory Coast teammates not to underestimate Mali during tomorrow's African Cup of Nations semi-final.

Ivory Coast captain Didier Drogba has warned his teammates not to underestimate Mali in tomorrow's African Cup of Nations semi-final.

Drogba's side are favourites to progress to the final, but the Chelsea striker is adamant that Mali are capable of providing the Elephants with a tough test.

"Games change, times change. Don't always judge a team based on its past performances," Drogba told Goal.com.

"We train, play and learn everyday, so no team is static. Mali are a very strong side and we respect them.

"They have reached the semi-finals due to their strength, quality and competitiveness. So, they can play us like any other tough team would do."

Ivory Coast last won the competition in 1992.
