Stephen Hunt hopeful of full-time Ipswich Town contract

Stephen Hunt is confident of securing a longer contract at Ipswich Town.

Stephen Hunt has said that he feels he should soon be offered a full-time contract at Ipswich Town.

The 32-year-old initially signed for the Tractor Boys on a pay-as-you-play deal last month and has made four appearances in the Championship under Mick McCarthy, who formerly managed him at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Hunt says that he feels confident of landing a longer deal in Suffolk, insisting that he doesn't want to go elsewhere.

He told the Green 'Un: "I'm on the right road to getting signed soon if all goes well. I'm happy. I don't want to go anywhere else."

Ipswich have lost just one of their last eight games to move up to 10th in the table.
