Sports Mole looks ahead to Watford's midweek trip to Ipswich Town in the Championship.

There are few teams in the Championship that have enjoyed 2013 so far more than Gianfranco Zola's Watford.

The Hornets have lost just twice since the turn of the year and as they prepare to travel to Suffolk to take on Ipswich Town on Tuesday night, they sit third in the table.

They also make the trip armed with the best away record in the division. From a possible 48 points, Zola's men have collected 29 on the road - a return that no side can better or even match.

In Matej Vydra they also have one of the Championship's leading marksmen. The Czech Republic international has netted 19 goals already this campaign.

Hosting Ipswich could do with a Vydra of their own as they battle against relegation.

Mick McCarthy's team have lost more matches at Portman Road this season than they have won. However, they are unbeaten in their last three encounters at home, collecting seven points from nine.

When these two sides last met at Ipswich, Watford ran out 2-1 winners in December 2011.
