Ipswich Town and Bolton Wanderers head into the half-time break goalless at Portman Road.

Ipswich Town have had the better opportunities against Bolton Wanderers but it remains goalless at Portman Road.

The first chance of the match came when Carlos Edwards met Aaron Cresswell's centre, but he could only find the side-netting with his header.

Andy Lonergan made a good save to prevent Andy Drury from putting the Tractor Boys ahead.

The hosts continued to dominate and perhaps should have taken the lead in the 22nd minute.

David McGoldrick did well to drive a low ball to the back post where Daryl Murphy was waiting, but he stumbled as he was about to make contact and fired wide.
