Report: Samuele Longo close to Verona move

Inter Milan forward Samuele Longo is reportedly close to joining newly-promoted Serie A side Verona.

The 21-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Spanish side Espanyol, is rated highly at the San Siro. However, it is understood that Longo wants to depart in search of regular football.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, that has attracted the interest of Verona, who are readying their squad ahead of their return to the top flight in Italy.

Livorno have also been strongly linked with the forward.
