Team News: Inter Milan make wholesale changes

Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri rings the changes as his side look to maintain an unbeaten start to Serie A against Cagliari.

Inter Milan coach Walter Mazzarri has decided to completely overhaul his starting XI for this afternoon's trip to Cagliari Calcio.

Mazzarri's men are unbeaten in Serie A this season but that has not stopped the Nerazzurri boss from rotating, with his side playing for the third time in seven days.

Alvaro Pereira, Mateo Kovacic and Rolando all come in for their first starts of the season, while Ishak Belfodil replaces Rodrigo Palacio in a lone front role.

Cagliari are without Albin Ekdal and Andrea Cossu through injury, which means that Matias Cabrera starts just behind a front two of Victor Ibarbo and Mauricio Pinilla.

Cagliari: Agazzi; Perico, Rossettini, Astori, Murru; Dessena, Conti, Nainggolan; Cabrera; Pinilla, Ibarbo

Inter: Handanovic; Rolando, Ranocchia, Juan Jesus; Nagatomo, Guarin, Cambiasso, Kovacic, Pereira; Alvarez, Belfodil
