Inter Milan head coach Roberto Mancini has revealed his happiness with the performances of his new signings following Tuesday's 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich.
The Serie A side matched the Bundesliga champions for much of the game until Mario Gotze secured a win for Bayern 10 minutes from time, and Mancini was quick to pay tribute to Geoffrey Kondogbia and Jeison Murillo, who was forced off with an injury before the interval.
"Murillo made a good impression - he's got a strong character to go with his physique. It's a shame he picked up that knock but I don't think it's anything serious," the Inter boss told reporters.
"Kondogbia did well, too. He's only been training with us for 10 days and I think he'll need a bit more time to find his best form, but I'm happy with his performance all the same."
Mancini's side continue their pre-season preparations by taking on rivals AC Milan in Shenzhen on Saturday.
