Inter Milan confirm Ivan Perisic capture

Inter Milan have announced the signing of midfielder Ivan Perisic from Wolfsburg.

The 26-year-old arrived in Italy for a medical on Saturday and the Nerazzurri have confirmed that they have signed him on a five-year deal.

The Croatia international, who joined Wolfsburg from Borussia Dortmund in 2013, arrives for an undisclosed fee, thought to be in the region of £13m.

He joins the San Siro club as a replacement for Xherdan Shaqiri, who sealed a £12m switch to Premier League side Stoke City earlier this month.

Perisic, who will now join up with his Croatia teammates for the international break, could make his debut against bitter rivals AC Milan on September 13.
