Andre Villas-Boas denies Inter Milan rumours

AVB dismisses Inter rumours

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has dismissed talk of him replacing Claudio Ranieri as manager of Italian giants Inter Milan.

Villas-Boas is under increased pressure after his side suffered a 3-1 loss to Napoli in the first leg of their Champions league tie.

However, the 34-year-old chose to praise Ranieri rather than comment on the rumours of him taking up the managerial role at the San Siro.

Villas-Boas said: "I have the utmost respect for the work of Ranieri, who is experiencing a situation of change at Inter similar to ours.

"I think we both will continue to work with our current team, to believe in our work and try to get results. The market rumours are part of football, but I want to build Chelsea's future and I'm working on that. The results are not positive, but we must look forward."

Inter suffered a 1-0 defeat to Marseille in the first leg of their tie in the Champions League on Wednesday.
